Light Limits checks two limits, not one.
Works out how many Christmas light sets a circuit can safely take, checking the chain and circuit limits separately and publishing every constant.
Two limits, not one
A holiday display raises two separate questions: how much the circuit can carry before the breaker trips, and how many sets can be chained before the first one's wiring is overloaded. Most guides run them together. Only one of them has a breaker watching it, so Light Limits checks both and says which one binds first.
It asks where you are first
Guidance written for American circuits doesn't apply to a UK ring final or an Australian home, so the site asks for the region before anything else. Every constant it uses is published with its source, and where the honest answer depends on something it can't see, it says so instead of guessing.
